CLEMSON MARKET TREND RESEARCH CLUB

The Clemson Market Trend Research Club (MTR) gives Clemson students the opportunity to analyze current global financial markets through the lens of historical economic happenings. Studied periods will be broken down and applied to short, intermediate, and long-term market trends.

What To Expect:

1). Members will be given the time and space to develop a foundational understanding of the financial markets.

2). We will discuss the inner workings of the differing strategies used in modern and historical markets that lead to their success or lack there of.

3). Inviting guest speakers monthly to come speak in person or via zoom. (Opportunity for connection building).

4). We run a highly competitive simulated trading competition (individual and club wide).

5). Challenge others opinions and make understanding more concrete.
